Leadership

Success in the business world tends to follow strong leadership. Leaders deliver results with excellence and integrity. Leaders build cohesive and collaborative teams. Leaders enhance the success of others. Leaders make an impact in companies and in their communities.

At UNC Kenan-Flagler, you’ll develop leadership skills – and requisite interpersonal skills – with the same rigor and focus you’ll apply when you learn the technical aspects of business. In the classroom, in extracurricular activities, and through unique experiential learning opportunities, you’ll build, practice, and refine these important skills.

Strong leaders possess a keen sense of self-awareness. We’ll help you develop this sense as you pursue your MBA by using assessment tools and other resources to strengthen your individual effectiveness as well as your effectiveness as a team leader.

Strong leaders also work well in teams. A core value of UNC Kenan-Flagler, teamwork begins in orientation and continues throughout the curriculum. You’ll have numerous opportunities to practice solving problems, giving and receiving feedback, and reflecting on experiences for maximum learning.
