You must register in advance to participate in the Campus Visit Program or an admissions interview. Please call or e-mail us if you have any questions.
Plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your first scheduled appointment (see your registration email for this information). Proceed to the MBA Admissions office (room 2114) located in the back, right-side hallway on the main floor of the McColl Building. Business professional attire is appropriate for interviews.
The McColl Building is located at 300 Kenan Drive in Chapel Hill, near the Dean E. Smith Center (the Dean Dome) on UNC Chapel Hill’s campus. It’s the middle building in the three-building U-shaped business school complex.
Parking passes for the visitor’s lot will be sent via email, if you requested one, several days before the visit. Please print your pass to display it on your dashboard. When you arrive, drive to the top of the hill, passing under the pedestrian bridge and past the parking deck on your right. Continue until you see the Visitors Parking lot on your right. If you didn’t request a parking pass in advance, you can obtain one when you arrive (allow at least 15 extra minutes).
Uber and other ride sharing services operate in our area. We’re located about 30 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU International). During morning and afternoon rush hour, please allow for additional travel time.
Many area hotels offer a special UNC rate if requested.
If your schedule allows, consider adding a tour of the UNC Chapel Hill main campus or grabbing a bite to eat on iconic Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. The Chapel Hill Visitors Bureau maintains a helpful website for planning your visit. General UNC Campus visitor information, including main campus tours, is available online.
During winter weather, the university may decide to shut down for everyone’s safety. If the university declares a “Condition 2” or “Condition 3” closure, all campus visit activities and interviews are canceled and the business school will be closed. In case of predicted winter weather, please monitor the university website for closure announcements.
