Fielding Harrison

Class of 2022
Richmond, Va.

Fielding Harrison

My name is Fielding, and I’m originally from Richmond, Virginia. I went to the University of Virginia for undergrad where I studied Civil Engineering, concentrating in structural engineering. I didn’t want to become a Structural Engineer, but I was interested in building and real estate development. So, I began my career at Balfour Beatty Construction, an international general contractor, at the firm’s Washington, D.C. division. Starting as a Project Engineer and working my way up to Assistant Project Manager, I managed the construction of two high-rise multifamily projects in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. However, I had always been interested in the larger Real Estate industry, and I wanted to get exposure to the financial aspects that had occurred behind the scenes. So, I came to Kenan-Flagler to pursue these interests and am currently looking forward to my Summer Internship with Bank of America in their Investment Banking Division in the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging group. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about UNC, Real Estate, Investment Banking, or life in Chapel Hill!
