If you’re considering the Full-Time MBA Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler, congratulations. It’s an investment that is certain to pay dividends for your career. To help reduce your investment, we offer fellowship awards to exceptional applicants. In fact, nearly 30% of UNC Kenan-Flagler students receive some fellowship assistance.

We award fellowships most often to students with:

  • A superior record of achievement in academic and career settings
  • Diverse experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership potential

You don’t need to apply separately for UNC Kenan-Flagler fellowships. Every applicant is automatically considered for fellowships during the admissions process and fellowship award notifications are released at the same time as admissions decisions.

UNC Kenan-Flagler Fellowships

Premier Fellowships

Premier fellowships, the most prestigious awarded to students in the Full-Time MBA Program, provide full annual tuition and fees, a $5,000 stipend, and inclusion in a fellows-only resume guide.

Full Tuition Fellowships

In addition to premier fellowships, UNC Kenan-Flagler awards fellowships that cover full tuition and fees. We consider academic distinction, exceptional work experience, and other personal qualities when awarding Full Tuition Fellowships, which are open to students of all citizenships and academic backgrounds.

Partial Tuition Fellowships

Each year, we also offer partial-tuition fellowships, which are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and, often, specific career goals

MBA Veterans Scholarships

We award a number of MBA Veterans Scholarships, which help cover expenses other than tuition and fees, such as housing, board, books, and computers. Get more information for veteran applicants.

Dean’s Fellows Program

Each year, the Fellowship Selection Committee selects 30-40 talented students for the prestigious Dean’s Fellows Program

Dean’s Fellows are invited to meet special guests of the business school, participate in special events throughout the year, and receive mentorship from key members of the UNC Kenan-Flagler community. Dean’s Fellows also have the opportunity to work on special projects and initiatives for the dean.

If you are interested in becoming a Dean’s Fellow, you may apply for consideration as part of your application for admission. Dean’s Fellows candidates will be notified on a rolling basis starting in early March.
