She joined the MBA Admissions team in 2014, and is thrilled to add Chapel Hill to the list. Allie was born and raised in (as she puts it) the GREAT State of Texas (“Texas Forever” — Friday Night Lights). Allie earned her bachelor of science in merchandising with a minor in business from the University of North Texas. After graduation, Allie worked for the corporate retailers Zale Corporation and J.C. Penney Corporation Inc. as a jewelry buyer for its online stores. After moving to Chapel Hill to join her husband (a PhD candidate at UNC), Allie — who enjoyed her time as a student worker at UNT — fulfilled her wish to return to the academic world by joining the MBA Admissions team in 2017.
For fun, Allie loves to explore the beaches and mountains of the East Coast, spend time with family and friends, and interior decorate.

Leah was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, but she bleeds blue (she says it’s genetic) and truly believes that Chapel Hill is “The Southern Part of Heaven.” Leah earned bachelor of arts and master of science degrees in paleontology and worked for the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences for many years before returning to academia as a communications specialist for university programs. She joined the MBA Admissions team in 2014.
She is an avid fan of Carolina basketball, enjoys gardening, spending time with friends, and taking advantage of all the great food and culture the Triangle has to offer. Leah is also proud to foster dogs for a local “bully breed” rescue organization, Carolina Adopt-a-Bulls.
Tim was born and raised in New Hampshire where he earned an associate’s degree in business computer management from New Hampshire Community Technical College (now River Valley Community College). He immediately entered the software industry as a senior support analyst for electronics for imaging.
After nearly a decade in the software industry and earning his bachelor’s degree in applied studies from Granite State College, Tim left corporate America to pursue a career in higher education. He took a position in the Admissions and Student Recruitment office at River Valley Community College, his alma mater.
After a year in admissions, Tim was promoted to Assistant Registrar. Wanting to relocate his family out of New England (to avoid difficult winters), Tim took a position at UNC-Chapel Hill in the University Registrar’s office, where he spent almost two years. Looking for a new challenge, Tim accepted a position at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School as a Program Assistant for the MBA Admissions & Student Recruitment office.
