Who We Are — Meet Our Team
Tammy brings a wealth and diversity of experience in leadership, teamwork, strategy, career coaching and counseling in higher education that spans over 20 years. Her strengths include strategic planning, leadership, and change management.
She leads the strategy, development and administration of the career management, leadership development and employer engagement functions that support our MBA programs – Full-Time MBA, Weekend MBA, Evening MBA, and MBA@UNC – and all UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Vice President for the Office of Career and Internship Services at LIM College, Where Business Meets Fashion, in NYC. she provided the overall vision and leadership for career education and coaching, employer relations and operations.
Prior to LIM, she served as the Assistant Dean of Student Services and Administrative Affairs for the College of Education and Human Services at Montclair State University, where she earned her master’s degree. She also spent time in North Carolina having served at the Assistant Director for Graduate Student Services in University Career Services at Duke University. Additionally, Tammy was the Assistant Director for Internship Programs for Rutgers University, her undergraduate alma mater.
Tammy is excited to be in Tar Heel country with her husband, Ken, their three girls and dog named Champ.
As Director for Coaching – EMBA, MBA@UNC and Alumni, Megan works to coordinate and implement world-class coaching, programming, and relationship building across the programs. Megan coaches specifically in the MBA@UNC program but maintains ties to students in all programs and alumni through program delivery. Outside of coaching, her areas of expertise include military career transition, program planning and training/public speaking.
Megan has over 15 years of leadership experience and has worked at universities across the nation. As a certified Global Career Development Facilitator and a Certified Career Services Provider, Megan enjoys helping others understand and strengthen their career management and leadership skills. Before coming to UNC Kenan-Flagler in 2017, she spent time as a career transition trainer for the U.S. Department of Labor as a government contractor helping over 1,800 active duty military service members successfully transition to civilian employment.
Megan earned her MEd in higher education from Arizona State University and her BA in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University. Life’s adventures have allowed her to live in Europe, Asia and in many locations throughout the U.S. She loves spending time with her family, being outside, and watching Cyclone and Tar Heel basketball.
Chad brings 16 years of experience working as a career development professional. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated success with high achieving students interested in all career fields including technology, medicine, and government. As Associate Director of Career Coaching for the full-time MBA program, Chad is prepared to provide big picture career coaching and prepare students on all levels for careers in technology. Chad has organized and led students on multiple treks to locations such as Washington, DC and Cape Town, South Africa. He has also coached many students interested in technology careers through the internship application process for semester-long study abroad opportunities in San Francisco and Palo Alto, CA.
Chad holds a BA in Psychology and Religion from the University of Rochester and a MS in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Chad holds certifications in MBTI and Gallup Strengths and has completed training in NACE Career Coaching, NACE Management Leadership Institute, and UNCG Leadership Institute. Chad enjoys hockey, fly fishing, vinyl records, and adding to his many collections.
With over 18 years of marketing, sales, leadership development and performance management experience, Erika is a results-driven talent development professional who specializes in supporting students interested in Marketing and Real Estate careers. The majority of her career has been spent working in marketing roles with top industry leaders including Eli Lilly & Company, Chase Manhattan Bank and Chick-fil-A, Inc.
As a Certified Executive Coach she has worked with entry-level to C-suite professionals seeking leadership advancement and/or career transition opportunities. Erika holds a BS in marketing from Hampton University, an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Master of Divinity degree from the Union Theological Seminary (NYC).
Erika enjoys spending time with her family, working out and creating entrepreneurship and leadership development programming for young future leaders.
Having over 15 years of experience on Wall Street spanning various finance sub-sectors including investment banking, capital markets, sales and trading, commercial banking, investment management and corporate finance, Pramita specializes in careers in finance. She was most recently Head of Loan Syndicate & Distribution Americas at Standard Chartered Bank and has held positions at Goldman Sachs, Citi and BBVA.
She has been recognized for her ability to develop talent and foster trusted relationships with numerous financial institutions as well as her technical expertise across various products, which she utilizes to help students optimally position themselves for finance opportunities. Pramita holds an MBA (with Honors) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Smith College.
Pramita enjoys spending time with her young family and settling into Tar Heel country.
Having spent eight years in the consulting industry Linda specializes in careers in consulting and strategy. As a Career & Leadership Coach, her strengths are in helping students craft and tell their stories as well as in preparing students for case interviews.
Linda works closely with her team, the Consulting Club and consulting faculty to develop workshops and curriculum to better the problem solving skills of students. Together they also work to foster relationships with employers to increase consulting and strategy opportunities for the student population. She holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the George Washington University.
Linda enjoys consumption of foods of all kinds and baking.
Employer Engagement & Recruiting
Kelly brings over 10 years of experience working in higher education both in the U.S. and U.K. across Business Development, Athletics Administration, Fundraising and most recently Career & Leadership. As an Associate Director of Employer Engagement & Recruiting, she partners with key employers to create new relationships and enhance existing relationships with a focus on Healthcare, Energy, Sustainability, Operations and General Management.
Prior to joining UNC, she lived and worked in the U.K. and spent six years working at University of Oxford in various roles such as senior development executive for Saïd Business School and fundraising for Oxford Sport during London 2012. Before moving to the U.K., Kelly was Senior Woman Administrator and Head Tennis Coach at Meredith College, leading the team to two NCAA appearances. She has worked in the corporate sector as an attorney and a global project manager. Kelly earned her BA in foreign affairs from University of Virginia and her JD from UNC School of Law. She has worked and traveled in nearly 30 countries and enjoys exploring new cultures.
Kelly is excited to be back in Tar Heel country and showing her young family why she considers North Carolina home.
Sandra Chandler has over 10 years’ experience in business development, partner engagement, sales and marketing. She has deep experience establishing and maintaining relationships with new business partners by offering quality service and creative solutions to their needs. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Sandra was responsible for strategic partner development for a national education non-profit organization, working to create complex partnerships with some of the largest school districts across the U.S.
She joins the Employer Engagement & Recruiting team with a focus on identifying and building out recruiting partnerships that are geared to our working professional and alumni populations.
Laura is the Recruiting Coordinator for the Employer Engagement & Recruiting team within Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni. As recruiting coordinator, she manages the scheduling and logistics of all on-campus recruiting activity along with various other operational aspects of the recruiting process. Prior to joining Kenan-Flagler, Laura worked in Student Services for the Department of Allied Health Sciences within the UNC School of Medicine. In this role she managed three graduate school programs, coordinating admissions, enrollment, orientation, course management and graduation. Laura managed the course evaluation system and also initiated the professional development workshop series for the department. She planned numerous department-wide events and served as an advisor to the Student Ambassador club. Before working at UNC, Laura started her own business, worked as a campus recruiter for Deloitte and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and taught 8th grade. Laura holds a BA in Education from UNC.
Liz is the Recruiting Coordinator for the MBA Employer Engagement & Recruiting team within Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni. As recruiting coordinator, she manages the scheduling and logistics of all on-campus recruiting activity along with various other operational aspects of the recruiting process. Liz has been a member of the Career & Leadership team since June 2015, when she transitioned from UNC General Administration’s Academic and Student Affairs division.
Prior to her time in higher education, Liz worked as an executive recruiter in the financial services sector in New York City.
Hodges Leadership Center
Kate Kryder serves as the Associate Director for the Hodges Leadership Center for MBA Programs. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Kate worked at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Office of Student Life & Leadership, where she designed and delivered experiential leadership programs for undergraduate students at Carolina. Kate is a 2018 recipient of the University’s Diversity & Inclusion award and a 2017 recipient of the Chancellor’s Undergraduate Staff Award.
Kate holds a BS in visual communications form Ohio University, a MEd in higher education administration from Loyola University of Chicago, and is pursuing her MBA at Elon University.
Rachel White serves as the Associate Director for the Hodges Leadership Center for MBA Programs. She designs and facilitates leadership development programs for MBA students and manages our team of executive coaches. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Rachel lived in worked in Qatar for 10 years where she held a variety of roles, including supporting students at Texas A&M’s campus in Doha and implementing a national leadership program with Red Rock International.
Rachel holds a BA in international studies from UNC-CH and a MEd in higher education administration from NC State University.
Samantha Dickens has over 10 years of experience working in higher education. She currently serves as the Director of Operations for Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni. Samantha joined UNC Kenan-Flagler in 2011 and has held various roles in MBA student services and program operations. She holds a BA in Economics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.
Jessie Nash serves as the Program Manager for Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Jessie was the general manager at School of Rock Chapel Hill where she helped open the new franchise location and managed day-to-day operations. She holds a BA in biology and German language and literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and a MEd in student affairs practice in higher education from the University of Virginia. Jessie is a proud Tar Heel and is excited to combine her experiences and passions at her alma mater.
