We offer one program start a year, with classes beginning in February. As a Weekend MBA student, you’ll attend classes all day Friday and Saturday every three weeks, plus the occasional Sunday. In-person residency weekends allow you to focus on coursework without distractions and build strong connections with classmates that will last your entire career. Between class sessions, you have the flexibility to complete assignments, maintain personal commitments, and take care of business travel and work obligations.
Each incoming class begins the program with a weekend-long Orientation in late January, ahead of a 4-day Opening Week and the start of coursework in early February. During Orientation weekend, you’ll start to develop relationships with your classmates and study team, get to know the program staff and faculty, learn more about the career and leadership resources you’ll access throughout the program, and familiarize yourself with Rizzo Center and its amenities. It’s an exciting time to get to know your cohort peers and prepare yourself before the kick-off of the program’s intensive academic experience in February.
Classes are held Friday and Saturday, every three weeks, with an occasional Sunday.
Friday classes start at 10 am, so many students fly or drive in Friday morning, and Saturday classes end at 3:30 pm. Most students spend 12 to 20 hours a week in individual study or team meetings between class weekends.
