The MBA Student Association (MBASA) hosts 40+ student-led clubs, committees, and advisory boards, strengthening the Tar Heel community. These organizations are open to all Full-Time MBA students and are often a highlight of the MBA experience.
The Analytics Club seeks to advance the education, careers, and community of MBAs interested in data and analytics across industries and functions.

The Blockchain Club’s mission is to teach students about disruptive blockchain technology by providing education and resources, facilitating recruiting in the blockchain space through events and conferences, and hosting guest speakers.
Blue Cup Club organizes and puts on a two-week competition every year between UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Duke Fuqua Business School. From tennis and flag football to trivia and chess, only one program comes out on top each year to be the annual Blue Cup winner.

The Kenan-Flagler Student Store is a Full-Time MBA student-run organization. It was founded in spring 2016 by Tim Ryan and Kyle Pinheiro, MBA Class of 2017 after identifying a funding gap for career clubs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School that sponsor most of the career exploration and preparation sessions. The store further promotes the school’s core values of Integrity, Inclusion, Innovation, and Impact and also promotes the school’s focus on The Bottom Line and The Greater Good. The store seeks to generate sustainable profits for student activities via the sale of UNC Kenan-Flagler branded merchandise.

The UNC Kenan-Flagler Veterans Association supports and enhances the transition of our military veterans and active duty service members returning post-graduation. We support every phase of the transition process — from recruitment, matriculation, academics, networking, and integration with our non-military classmates to providing a platform for understanding, shared knowledge and camaraderie.

The Basketball Club is a community of students and partners who enjoy playing basketball. The club provides players of all skill levels and backgrounds opportunities to play organized weekly basketball games. The club also selects a team to represent UNC Kenan-Flagler and compete against other MBA programs, in both Georgetown’s U4 Basketball Tournament and the Blue Cup championship.

Iron Heels is Kenan-Flagler’s triathlon club. We are a community of students and partners who enjoy swimming, biking and/or running. The club provides students of all skill levels and backgrounds the opportunity to coordinate weekly workouts, participate in races together and attend special events to learn more about the sport.

The Kenan-Flagler Business School MBA rugby club provides students with the opportunity to learn and play the sport of (touch) rugby to stay fit and have fun. The club regularly partners with the Duke Grad Rugby program which offers a great opportunity to expand students’ networks. In addition to practices and the Blue Cup, the club also hosts watch parties and socials for premier world rugby events.

The Ski Club is a community of students and partners who enjoy skiing. The club provides skiers of all skill levels and backgrounds opportunities to organize ski trips.

The MBA Soccer Club aims to enrich the UNC Kenan-Flagler experience by using the international language and love of soccer as a common bond. The club provides members opportunities to play at a level of soccer they enjoy and the chance to create unique, long-lasting relationships. Pickup sessions run twice a week throughout the year and are open to all. There are intramural leagues, competitive games including scrimmages and the Blue Cup against Duke, the Texas Winter Classic MBA Tournament and the Faculty-Staff-Student Cup, plus social events to watch professional soccer at a local sports bar.
