Underrepresented Students

Diverse environments shape stronger business professionals, and a sense of belonging is critical to ensuring you can thrive and reach your potential. To cultivate this diversity, we welcome talented people across many ethnic, racial, and cultural groups into our Full-Time MBA Program. This diversity of thought, experiences, and perspectives is integral to our program’s success and a critical part of our innovative and collaborative culture.

As an MBA student, you’ll find ample opportunities to participate in, and contribute to, this culture. As you take on important leadership roles on campus and in the community, develop a dynamic personal and professional network, and join a legacy of students who land top positions in leading companies worldwide, you’ll showcase your own strengths and represent what make UNC Kenan-Flagler so special.

Learn what it takes to join the UNC-Kenan Flagler Full-Time MBA program.

MBA JumpStart

National Black MBA Association and Prospanica

UNC Kenan-Flagler supports the mission of the National Black MBA Association and Prospanica (formerly The National Society of Hispanic MBAs), and we are proud to host a local collegiate chapter of the National Black MBA Association. Both groups are comprised of underrepresented MBAs, business professionals, and MBA students. Many of our students attend the competitions and conferences sponsored by these groups each year. UNC Kenan-Flagler provides support and preparation services to our students attending these programs before and during the events, including mock interviews, workshops on conference management, and engaging alumni as industry experts.

Robert Toigo Foundation

We are proud supporters of the Robert Toigo Foundation, an organization that aims to increase diversity in the finance industry. The Toigo Foundation hosts annual coaching seminars and career conferences, and offers merit-based fellowships for students interested in finance careers.
