In the past, UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA students have received funding from these organizations and programs.
The Fulbright Program
- International program funded by the U.S. government
- Active in 140 countries, including 51 countries with binational Fulbright commissions and foundations
- Managed by private, cooperating organizations, such as LASPAU, AMIDEAST, and IIE
Fundaçao Estudar scholarship
- For Brazilian citizens with a letter of acceptance from a top university
- Merit-based scholarship program with career development support, amount varies according to financial need
- More than 500 scholarships granted since its founding in 1991, totaling a $5 million investment
Instituto Ling scholarship
- For Brazilian citizens with a letter of acceptance from a top business school and demonstrated financial need
- Scholarship program with career follow-up
- Since its founding, it has awarded 37 scholarships totaling $580,000
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
- Fellowship jointly awarded by UNC Kenan-Flagler and DAAD to one admitted German student per year
- Requires UNC Kenan-Flagler application and a direct application to DAAD
- Application deadline in early summer
Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
- Supports immigrants and children of immigrants pursuing graduate studies in the U.S.
- Must be 30 years old or younger and demonstrate creativity, originality and initiative.
