You must register in advance to participate in on-campus admissions events, Campus Visit Program, or an admissions interview. Specific instructions for each event will be included in your logistics email. The information below is to assist visitors coming to Chapel Hill before arriving to campus. Please call or e-mail us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School!
Bell Hall and the McColl Building are located at 300 Kenan Center Drive in Chapel Hill, near the Dean E. Smith Center (the Dean Dome) on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus.
Parking passes for the visitor’s lot will be sent via email, if you requested one, several days before the visit. Please print your pass to display it on your dashboard. If you didn’t request a parking pass in advance, please contact our office prior to your arrival for additional instructions.
You can use 300 Kenan Center Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599 as your GPS destination. This will bring you up around a long drive to the Business School Visitor’s Lot on your right. Park anywhere there, leave the parking pass on your dashboard, and take the path (across the drive) all the way to Bell Hall. On your way, you’ll pass under several world flags (this is the McColl Building) and across the bridge to the back side of Bell Hall. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the big Steven D. Bell hall letters on the side of the building.
Please review parking instructions in your event registration confirmation email for details on where you should park for your visit to campus. If you are parking in our Business School Parking Deck, please note that parking is free on the weekend – you will not need a parking pass.
Uber and other ride sharing services operate in our area. We’re located about 30 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU International). During morning and afternoon rush hour, please allow for additional travel time. Due to the on-campus construction, we recommend this as an option.
There are numerous hotels in Chapel Hill just a short ride or walk from campus. Many any offer a special UNC rate, if requested. Please note that you are responsible for your own lodging and transportation while visiting Chapel Hill.

If your schedule allows, consider adding a tour of the UNC-Chapel Hill main campus or grabbing a bite to eat on iconic Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. The Chapel Hill Visitors Bureau maintains a helpful website for planning your visit. General UNC Campus visitor information, including main campus tours, is available online.
In accordance with direction from the University of North Carolina, please follow CDC guidelines when visiting campus. We encourage all participants to be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots. If you are experiencing any symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, fever), we kindly ask that you do not visit campus. Masks and face coverings are not required, however, we respect and support any participant who chooses to wear one.
During winter weather, the university may decide to shut down for everyone’s safety. If the university declares a “Condition 2” or “Condition 3” closure, all campus visit activities and interviews are canceled and the business school will be closed. In case of predicted winter weather, please monitor the university website for closure announcements.
