Some MBA students pursue a dual degree program that combines business education with another graduate program. You can pursue a dual degree program with one of six of UNC’s graduate schools or two Duke University programs. A dual degree program enables you to earn two degrees in less time than pursuing the degrees individually.
You must apply and be admitted separately to each program. Application requirements and admissions criteria vary. MBA dual degree applicants should consider the following:
All MBA dual degree students are required to pay three semesters of full-time tuition and fees to UNC Kenan-Flagler.
Students pay the first two semesters of MBA tuition and fees during the first year of the MBA (fall and spring). After completing the first year of the MBA, students pay the third semester of MBA tuition and fees during their first year of combined study.
Typically, the third semester of MBA charges is paid during the fall semester with the other program charges being paid in the spring semester; however, this can be reversed based on individual student situations related to academics.
