Offered exclusively to Future Business Admits (FBAs) to Kenan-Flagler, BUSI 401 In Barcelona provides an opportunity to get a jumpstart on the core Business curriculum while spending a month living and learning alongside your peers in one of Europe’s most exciting cities – Barcelona, Spain. In 2027, we are offering two sessions of BUSI 401 in Barcelona. Given the nature of the course, this program will be capped at 24 students per session. Each session is taught by Kenan-Flagler faculty.

Session 1 will be taught by Dr. Melissa Geil, Clinical Associate Professor of Management and Corporate Communication. Session 2 will be taught by Dr. Jenna Haugen, Clinical Associate Professor of Management and Corporate Communication.

This program is hosted by CEA CAPA (formerly Barcelona SAE) The CEA CAPA Center  is located in the heart of the city and coordinates a variety of field studies, museum visits, and guided reflection that closely tie the lessons to the city itself. Your Barcelona experience will consist of cultural activities to keep you exploring the local culture and a Weekly Cultural Agenda full of events so that you know what is happening throughout the city.

Shared accommodation is included and coordinated by CEA CAPA. Participants will have 24/7 support provided by CEA CAPA.
