Offered exclusively to Future Business Admits (FBAs) to Kenan-Flagler, BUSI 401 In Barcelona provides an opportunity to get a jumpstart on the core Business curriculum while spending a month living and learning alongside your peers in one of Europe’s most exciting cities – Barcelona, Spain. Over the span of 4 weeks, FBAs will complete BUSI 401: Management and Corporate Communication and participate in company visits and socio-cultural excursions.
This program will be taught by Dr. Jenna Haugen, Clinical Associate Professor of Management and Corporate Communication, and hosted by the Barcelona SAE Academic Study Center (SIS). The Barcelona SAE Academic Study Center is located in the heart of the city and coordinates a variety of field studies, museum visits, and guided reflection that closely tie the lessons to the city itself. Your Barcelona experience will consist of Barcelona SAE Cultural Activities to keep you exploring the local culture and a Weekly Cultural Agenda full of events so that you know what is happening throughout the city.
Given the nature of the course, this program will be capped at 30 students. Shared accommodation is included and coordinated by the Barcelona SAE Academic Study Center. Participants will have 24/7 support provided by Dr. Haugen and the Barcelona SAE team.
