Alyson Levitz-Jones - President
Originally from St. Louis, MO, Alyson spent her childhood rooting for the Cardinals and convincing out-of-towners of the merits of Imo’s Pizza (and provel cheese). She attended Denison University for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in communication. Post-graduation, Alyson moved to New York City, where she began her career in advertising at Spark Foundry before transitioning to in-house marketing, communications and public relations at Medidata—a clinical trials technology company. Currently, Alyson is enjoying the slower and warmer life down south and plans to pursue marketing for her career post-MBA. In her spare time, she enjoys playing softball and beach volleyball, hiking, traveling, exploring trendy foods and restaurants, consuming entirely too much media content, and cheering on the Tar Heels on Franklin Street.
Ben Glauber - Executive Vice President
Ben grew up in McLean, Virginia before attending the College of William and Mary where he studied chemistry. Following graduation, Ben returned to the Washington DC area, working at GEICO as a pricing analyst and product manager. Ben is a career switcher and will be working for Dell's commercial marketing team in Austin, Texas this summer. Ben enjoys playing and watching basketball, visiting national parks, and going to the beach.
Jamie Wheeler - VP of Finance / Co-Social Engagement
Jamie grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and spent his undergraduate years at North Carolina State University where he majored in civil engineering. Following graduation, Jamie spent two years in project management constructing chemical plants in rural Arkansas and then transitioned into the world of structural engineering before deciding to pursue an MBA at Kenan-Flagler. He plans to transition to a career in marketing and will be spending the summer in Austin, Texas working for Dell. Jamie enjoys long walks on the beach, or in the mountains, or anywhere outside.
Theresa Jansen - VP of Communications
Theresa is originally from Williamsburg, VA and completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science at Furman University. Prior to business school, she spent four years working in marketing communications at a non-profit public policy research organization in Washington, DC. Theresa is pursuing a post-MBA career in brand management and is excited to be interning in CPG marketing this summer. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to her favorite podcasts, taking walks, and exploring The Triangle with friends.
Paul McBride - VP of Corporate Relations
Paul grew up in Baltimore, MD and completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College. He started his career working in operations roles for ABB, a global Power & Automation firm. Most recently, he worked for the leading event management SaaS company, Cvent, as an Enterprise Account Executive selling software and services to Fortune 500 companies. Paul came to Kenan-Flagler with plans to pursue marketing for his career post-MBA, and will be spending the summer with Cisco. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, volunteering, and spending time with friends & family.
Anindita Nayar - VP of Learning & Development
Anindita grew up in India, Turkey, and the U.S., and has travelled to over 30 countries. She completed her undergraduate degree in History from a top Arts College in India- Lady Shri Ram College. Prior to business school, she worked in the Indian film industry for 7 years. In addition to starring as the Lead Actress for mainstream Bollywood movies and being the face of international brands, she was deeply engaged in developing brand partnerships, social media and marketing campaigns for major movies. Anindita is excited to work for Delta Airlines as a Commercial Strategy intern this summer. She is passionate about travelling and learning about new cultures. She is a certified scuba diver and an adventure sports enthusiast.
Tyler Smith - VP of Learning & Development
Tyler Smith grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and has an undergrad degree in Economics from Furman University, a small liberal arts school in South Carolina. Prior to B-school, he worked as a strategy consultant for a boutique firm based in Munich, Germany, and worked with companies in various countries across Europe and South America. A career switcher, Tyler will be working in a brand management role at Procter and Gamble for his summer internship. Outside of school and work, Tyler loves any adventurous activity, including skydiving, bungee jumping, and scuba diving
Gabriel Rizo Patron - VP of Shadow Days
Gabriel Rizo Patron is a first-year MBA student at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and originally from Lima, Peru. He majored in Business Administration from a top Peruvian Business School in 2010. After graduating, Gabriel started his career at EY, where he worked as a Consultant for 1 year, helping clients in the financial services industry. Afterwards, he worked for a Start-up company as a Head of Finance and Administration. Finally, before coming back to school, he was Head of Financial Planning and Controlling for the biggest Healthcare company in Peru. Outside of work, Gabriel is a sports fanatic.
Robyn Moore - VP of Case Competitions / Co-Social Engagement
Robyn is a class of 2019 MBA student focusing on Marketing and Finance at Kenan Flagler. Prior to business school, she worked in operations and marketing for a real estate firm in Washington, DC. She is looking forward to joining Johnson & Johnson for the summer in Brand Management. Robyn received a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Virginia.
Damon Hartye - VP of First-Year Experience
Damon was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and went to undergrad at Davidson College. Before coming to UNC, Damon worked in nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship in Austin, TX and Maai Mahiu, Kenya. He is concentrating in Marketing with enrichments in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Enterprise and is passionate about using entrepreneurship to drive community development and financial inclusion.
Mariana Thomas - VP of First-Year Experience
Mariana was born in Auchi, Nigeria. She spent her childhood there and moved to India before eventually making the United States her home. Prior to business school, Mariana spent nearly a decade as a TV news reporter. Most recently she worked for the Disney owned and operated ABC station and covered stories across central California. Mariana will spend her summer interning in a brand management role at PepsiCo. She’s a proud mom of two kids and is passionate about equity in the workplace.
Firoz Jameel - VP of Diversity & Inclusion
A lifelong North Carolinian, Firoz went to undergrad at Duke University, earning a bachelors degree in economics and public policy. While in school, Firoz worked for several elected officials, including the Governor of North Carolina and the President of the United States. Following college, Firoz began his career as a business analyst at Cisco Systems before becoming a university spokesman at Arizona State University. Most recently, he worked as a political consultant, helping legislative and judicial candidates in Noth Carolina craft their messages to appeal to voters. Firoz will spend this summer interning for the RJ Reynolds tobacco company in Winston-Salem. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, hanging out with friends, and cheering on his beloved Blue Devils to the chagrin of everyone in Chapel Hill.
