Associate Professor of Accounting
When you’re learning new information, the delivery matters. In the MAC Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler, our professors do more than just teach the curriculum; they interact with students at a one-to-one level and invite peer-to-peer collaboration. The result: stronger comprehension and deeper engagement with the course content.
Our program actively seeks students from a wide range of academic backgrounds: some hold business degrees, while others have majored in chemistry or fine arts. This well-rounded diversity creates a special environment that our professors truly embrace, as they help students connect past experiences with new pursuits in accounting.
Our professors know how to teach. They’re patient, helpful, and inspiring. They’ve won awards for their teaching. But, they also know their stuff. Many have had extensive experience working as accountants in offices around the world, both on the tax and audit fronts, while others have served as management consultants, lawyers, and researchers.
