The UNC Master of Accounting Program provides fellowship awards to highly qualified students enrolled in either the online or on-campus format. These fellowships are funded by endowments, friends of UNC Kenan-Flagler, and public accounting firms and corporations. While the majority of these fellowships are merit-based, our program is one of the few graduate programs that allocates a certain percentage of fellowship awards for undergraduate Pell grant recipients.
Admitted students are automatically considered for these awards; a separate application is not required. About half of the MAC students receive a fellowship, which are valued up to $25,000. As fellowship funds are limited, you are encouraged to apply to the program as early as possible to give yourself the best chance to secure an award. Most fellowships are disbursed soon after the priority deadline.
