During this time, we remain dedicated to the students we serve, which includes our connection to you and your journey. We want you to know that we are here to assist you in any way that we can. Please read the following admissions updates from the UNC MAC program and do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions.
We know how difficult it’s been to provide test scores due to the closing of test centers. As an alternative, applicants can now submit an alternate test score (SAT/ACT/LSAT/MCAT) to be considered for admission to the program. The test must have been taken within the past seven years.

Our Orientation and Leadership Immersion (OLI) is one of the important cornerstones of the UNC MAC Program. We strongly believe in the ability for new students to develop as leaders, meet each other, interact with faculty members, and build a strong foundation for their online studies. However, we also recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges and concerns for everyone in society. Your health and well-being remain our highest priority; therefore, we have made the decision to hold OLI in a live, virtual classroom.
After careful consideration, deliberation with our employer partners, and review of university guidelines regarding safety protocols, we have decided to conduct the upcoming 2021 Structured Recruiting process virtually. This means all recruiting events organized by the UNC MAC program will be hosted online, and will not take place in Chapel Hill.
Should conditions at the university change, we will continue to take action in the best interests of our students, staff, and faculty. We will make every effort to keep you informed and notify you of any changes as soon as possible. Please, email us at email@example.com or call 919-962-3209 for more information.
The first academic term remains as scheduled from July 5 through September 15. We have not made a decision about whether courses will be offered on campus or virtually. The classes offered will remain the same, but we have not determined the instructional format. Certainly, the goal is to have students in person in Chapel Hill, but we will do that only when it is safe, and when we can be compliant with campus guidance regarding classroom capacity.
The MAC program leadership team will revisit this open question as soon as we have guidance from UNC about summer and fall 2021. We will provide an admissions update once a decision has been made.
We thank you for your interest in our program and look forward to connecting with you in the coming months.
