You’ll earn the same degree offered by UNC’s Full-time MBA Program. All UNC MBA programs are accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency.

Convenient weekend schedule allows for business travel

The Weekend MBA Program lasts 20 months. Classes will be held every third weekend, all day Friday and Saturday. Every two months, you’ll attend classes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  You’ll also attend one residential immersion week. Between class sessions, there’s time for business travel, and you’ll have most weekends free.

UNC attracts results-driven team players who build lasting relationships. Most Weekend MBA students are in their mid-30s and average 12 years of work experience. The program requires five years’ experience minimum, with eight preferred.

Tailored curriculum to fit career goals

The Weekend MBA kicks off with core courses so everyone has a common foundation. After the first year, you will tailor your MBA to fit your career goals. Select 10 elective courses from a wide array of courses, including global immersions. Or choose a concentration in marketing, finance or strategy/leadership. Few, if any, top executive MBA programs offer more flexibility.

Electives after graduation

You can keep your MBA current by taking Weekend MBA and Evening MBA elective courses in Chapel Hill for a nominal fee.
