David Dicks conducts research in the areas of corporate finance, focusing on executive compensation, corporate governance, banking and innovation.
He teaches courses in corporate finance theory and strategic economics, an applied game theory class.
He owned his own business for five years, and worked as a magician.
Dr. Dicks received his PhD from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a BS in economics, mathematics and statistics.
