Biography

Harvey M. Wagner is a professor of operations, technology and innovation management. His areas of expertise include operations management, production planning and supply-chain management.

Dr. Wagner's book, Principles of Operations Research, was selected among the top 25 books that have shaped how operations research is taught and practiced by OR/MS Today, the magazine for members of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS). He is a fellow of the Manufacturing and Service Operations Society of INFORMS

He has served as a consultant with McKinsey & Company since 1960.

He received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MS and BS from Stanford University.
