We have proudly offered a top-ranked online MBA program since 2011, delivering powerful ROI to thousands of Tar Heel alumni from all over the world. You’ll be able to earn your MBA in as few as 18 months or up to three years – learning from expert UNC Kenan-Flagler faculty and building a strong, supportive network along the way.
In addition to an intentionally-designed core curriculum, you’ll be able to choose one of six concentrations to customize your degree. Roughly half of your total credit hours are comprised of elective courses so that you can make the most of your investment.
Online MBA students also attend quarterly in-person Summits – held both in Chapel Hill and in global business hubs around the world – designed to build strong connections and facilitate intensive learning.
The Online MBA has four start dates per year: January, April, July, and October.

*If you’ve already completed some accounting classes but do not have an accounting degree, you may be eligible for course transfers to reduce your total credit requirement for our traditional format. Visit our transfer credit policy page to learn more.
All full-time Fifth Third Bank employees, as well as part-time employees working more than 20 hours per week, are eligible for the tuition benefit with UNC Kenan-Flagler. Employees in temporary employment such as internships are not eligible. The student must be a Fifth Third Bank employee at the time the employment verification is due to receive the discounted tuition from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Employee verification takes place at the beginning of the program and UNC-Chapel Hill will honor the fellowship for the length of the program regardless of employment status after the program starts.
