Some of their names might be familiar to you since they include alumni and professors who have been teaching for us on a part-time basis. They bring deep expertise and industry experience to their classrooms.

Paul Cornwell (MBA ’22) teaches data analytics, statistics and data storytelling. He has significant experience in technical roles and strategy consulting across multiple industries. He works with small- and medium-sized businesses, advising them on strategy and helping them use analytics to improve decision making. He held roles at Triangle Insights Group and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and was a research mathematician studying dynamical systems. He earned his PhD from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Josh Holley teaches courses in financial audit, fraud and accounting information systems. He has taught MAC and MBA courses at UNC Kenan-Flagler since 2016. He is the fractional chief financial officer for Stop Soldier Suicide. He began his career by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked in public accounting with E&Y before moving into early-stage startups. He is pursuing his EdD in organizational leadership at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Jason Jenny (MBA ’13) has taught operations courses in the Online MBA Program since 2014. He has deep experience in leading organizations, with over 25 years of mentoring, leading and teaching in industry. He served in a variety of roles for Cree Inc./Wolfspeed Inc., including operations roles leading engineering, equipment, manufacturing, capacity, capital planning, inventory control, planning and supply chain, and operational excellence. He earned his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
Z. Eddie Ning studies consumer behavior and firm strategy. He looks at how decision makers should behave when they can acquire and process information continuously, and how marketing strategy should adapt when firms become more capable of predicting the preferences of individual consumers. He teaches courses on market research, marketing analytics and the business applications of AI. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
Scott Wallace studies judgment and decision-making processes and their implications for effective marketing, product design and consumer goal pursuit. His research interests include gamified product design, personal quantification and progress tracking, consumer self-regulation and online word-of-mouth in marketing. He teaches courses in marketing principles, strategy and professional selling. He received his PhD in marketing from Duke University.
Also joining UNC Kenan-Flagler is Sarah Jensen, postdoctoral research associate of organizational behavior, as the new manager of the Center for Decision Research, which supports empirical research on individual, team and organizational dynamics, and provides students with opportunities to engage in research.
