Sarah Jensen’s research examines how third-party observers react to interpersonal conflict and workplace wrongdoing. She is especially interested in how these reactions shape interpersonal relationships at work.
In other projects, she studies organizational efforts to increase prosocial and ethical behavior as well as moral judgments.
Her work has been published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General.
At UNC Kenan-Flagler, Dr. Jensen manages the Center for Decision Research, which supports empirical research on individual, team and organizational dynamics, and provides students with opportunities to engage in the research process.
Before starting her PhD, she worked as a lab manager in the Roman Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She managed the center’s community partnerships with organizations like the Chicago Parks District, helped found the center’s virtual lab and helped create the world’s first behavioral discovery center, Mindworks.
She earned her PhD in management from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, her MA in social sciences from the University of Chicago and her BA in psychology and French from Saint Norbert College.
