The research interests of Seyed Emadi are service operations, empirical studies in operations management, queuing systems, optimization and computational economics.
Dr. Emadi's current research includes the structural estimation of callers' delay sensitivity, and the impact of delay announcements in call centers.
His professional experience includes serving as CEO of the Iran Transformer Research Institute and head of the electrical research department at Iran Transfer Co., both in Tehran, Iran.
Dr. Emadi received his PhD in operations management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he also received an MSc in Operations Management. He also received an MSc and a BSc, both in electrical engineering, from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.
