Vrinda Mittal’s research interests include private capital markets, specially, private equity, real estate and asset pricing.

She studies investors’ allocation decisions in private assets, and implications of private assets for the real economy.

Dr. Mittal teaches classes in finance and real estate.

She also spent time at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Reserve Board as a dissertation intern while she was a doctoral student.

She received her PhD and M.Phil. in finance and economics from Columbia Business School, her master of finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and her BA in economics with honors distinction from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University.
