Virtual programs are available internationally. Please note, all courses are taught in English and time zones reflect Eastern Time.

UNC Executive Development Programs for Individuals are non-credit bearing programs. Registration does not require prerequisites or a formal admissions process.

All virtual self-paced programs are delivered 100% online through the online learning management system, Canvas. Each program will require approximately 6-8 hours to complete. The program content is self-paced. You will be given 10 weeks to access and complete the program.

Faculty-led sessions for the virtual live programs are hosted on the Zoom platform. Most virtual live programs also contain preparation components to be completed ahead of time or in-between live sessions. Following registration, your Program Manager will share all necessary details and access information, as well as continue to be a resource throughout the program experience.

The preferred method of payment is credit card via our website. Alternatively, you may select “Please send me an invoice,” and one will be sent via email. If you have any payment questions, please call 1-800-UNC-EXEC or email us at unc_exec@unc.edu.

If paying by credit card, payment is due at the time of registration. If paying by invoice, please make your payment according to the instructions listed on the invoice. For virtual self-paced programs, we do not provide access to the program until payment is received.

Yes. You can combine three or five UNC Executive Development programs, residential or virtual, into a certificate experience that addresses your specific needs. See our certificates tab to learn more.

Yes. All of our Programs for Individuals are eligible for Continuing Education Units. The Program Manager will provide instructions regarding how to apply for CEUs. Participants must complete the entire program to receive CEUs.

The fee is listed on the description page for each program. The fee for most Programs for Individuals includes instruction, materials, daily breakfast, refreshments at breaks, and lunch. Intentional Leadership® includes the aforementioned program benefits, as well as accommodations.

Tuition does not include accommodations with the exception of Intentional Leadership^®. We recommend you book accommodations in our discounted room block onsite at the Rizzo Center. Please call 1-800-UNC-EXEC for more information.

Daily breakfast, lunch, and refreshments at breaks will be provided. Certain specialty programs may include dinner. Contact us at 1-800-UNC-EXEC or pfi@kenan-flagler.unc.edu for any course-specific questions.

Classes generally begin at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm, and include daily breakfast, refreshments at breaks, and lunch. Certain programs include evening activities. Your Program Manager will send an invitation to the course website, where you can access an agenda and course materials before the start of the program. You will receive this invitation only after all program fees are paid in full.

Pre-program information and materials will be available via the course website approximately four weeks before the start of the program, once your payment is received in full.

We supply basic materials for classroom learning. You may bring electronic devices for note-taking including your laptop, tablet, mobile phone, etc. Although we do our best to maintain a comfortable environment in the classroom, we suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket. For more information please refer to the course website, or after registration coordinate with your Program Manager.
