Patrick Vernon teaches courses on launchng new ventures, new venture analysis, artistic entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial consulting at UNC Kenan-Flagler.
He directs the international Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC®), a premiere competion for venture-minded and entrepreneuriall MBA students that features a network of 50 events on three continents.
He serves as faculty advisor for Carolina Challenge, a campus-wide business plan competition at UNC.
Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Mr. Vernon was an entertainment entrepreneur, founding an independent record label based in Los Angeles. With his band, The Zookeepers, he released four CDs and performed 500 shows in the United States and Europe.
He received his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler with a concentration in entrepreneurship and a BS, suma cum laude, in audio technology from American University.
