Your $1,500 enrollment deposit will be deposited into your student account at the University Cashier’s Office and credited to your first quarter tuition bill.
Create ONYEN
UNC ID login name is called your ONYEN, which stands for the Only Name You’ll Ever Need. You will use your ONYEN to access the online student center (ConnectCarolina) and various other electronic resources at UNC. To create your ONYEN, visit ONYEN Services and click on “Create an ONYEN”. Enter your 9-digit Personal Identification Number (PID) which can be found in your admissions packet, your first and last name, date of birth, and gender. An ONYEN will be created for you. You will be asked to create a password.Note: On the ONYEN website, there is information about creating your UNC webmail; Please DO NOT set up your UNC webmail. We will provide you with your Kenan-Flagler email address soon.
UNC Directory
Update the UNC Directory with your contact information and list your Kenan-Flagler email address once you receive it.
Enter SSN
This is performed in the Connect Carolina Student Center. On the right hand side of the page, you should see a “No SSN” hold along with the link for a “Student Records Item” under the To-Do List. Please click on the link and follow the prompts to enter your social security number. We do not collect your SSN during the application process, but it has to be in the University system before we can process any financial aid or register you for classes.
