Our admissions director will share details about the curriculum, cohort experience, schedule, networking benefits and career support. And our executive career coach will be on-hand to discuss career and leadership opportunities in the program. They'll then open it up to an interactive Q&A session. Event attendees will be granted a $150 application fee waiver.

Sit in on a class session, where you can experience the discussion-based curriculum live with one of our professors, followed by a complimentary lunch.

UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School's tax symposium is designed to bring together leading tax scholars from economics, accounting, finance, law, political science and related fields. The symposium will be held April 16 & 17, 2027. Due to high demand and limited seating capacity, attendance is by invitation. Papers should be well developed, but at a stage where they can still benefit from the group’s discussion. We welcome research involving a wide variety of taxes, including taxes not based on income. Please submit a PDF version of the paper by Dec. 15, 2026 to taxsymposium@kenan-flagler.unc.edu. Papers will be selected by Feb. 1, 2027.
