UNC Kenan-Flagler MSM students bring diverse academic backgrounds across the humanities, social sciences, STEM, and economics, paired with a shared drive to apply their knowledge in a business context. All are early career talent with less than one year of experience; they offer strong leadership potential, adaptability, and fresh perspectives. All bring discipline, resilience, teamwork, and strong time management skills valued by employers.

In addition, our students participate in a STAR consulting project that pairs them with a real-world business challenge, where they apply project management, process improvement, implementation, and risk impact considerations to deliver measurable, dispatch-ready solutions for their business partner.

Meet our Career Services team
Shannon Morgan Keith
As the Director of Career Services for the Master of Accounting and Master of Science in Management Programs, Shannon prepares hundreds of students for lasting career success. With over ten years of experience, she is an expert at coaching and counseling aspiring working professionals. Shannon holds a dual B.A. in Psychology and Political Science and a M.A. in Agency Counseling from NCCU.
Heather Stevenson
Heather Stevenson is Assistant Director of Career Services for the Master of Science in Management program where she manages career programming aimed at helping students achieve career success. Prior to her current role Heather has worked at UNC as both adjunct faculty and staff in other career offices. She holds a B.A in Media and Journalism from UNC and is currently enrolled in an EdD program for Organizational Learning and Leadership focusing her research on career education.
