Financial Planning Manager

Function: Finance

Responsibilities

  • This position leads planning coordination and execution of the annual operating and capital budget process for their assigned Market.
  • Participates in monthly forecasting, month end closing, Contributes towards the planning and organization of the programs and operations of the department.
  • The Manager of Financial Planning directs and supervise the operations of the department to ensure the quality of the services provided.

Skillset and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or healthcare-related
  • License: CPA Preferred
  • Experience: 5-10 years progressive financial management experience related setting
  • Must be familiar with broad range of Organization financial accounting, and best practices.
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required. PeopleSoft General Requires strong communication skills.

 


 

Regional Director of Supply Chain Management

Function: Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the leader for Supply Chain Management for multiple Organizations within the Trinity Health of New England region of Trinity Health.
  • Develops, implements and administers a coordinated supply support system for the regional ministries.
  • Develops strategies to integrate and align supply chain operations within the region and as well as with Trinity-Health System Office.
  • Leads regional sourcing and contracting opportunities in collaboration with Trinity-Health System Office Supply-Chain Management.
  • Builds relationships within the region and at the system office to facilitate and promote supply chain strategies and objectives.

Skillset and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of progressive healthcare related management supply chain and/or logistics management experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry associated supply chain management, payable and financial analysis business acumen.
  • Formal Lean, Six Sigma, certified project management and change management experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong analytical, creative, and conceptual thinking skills Demonstrated leadership and program management experience.

 


 

Business Partner – Human Resources

Function: Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to organization leaders on leadership development, performance management, talent management, organization alignment, culture and colleague engagement.
  • Collaborates with local CHRO and leader team in leading strategy and approach for complex transitions including organization design, change management, and MD&A transitions.
  • Works with CHRO in implementing the Trinity Health vision for Human Resources at the ministry or system level.
  • Partners with Centers of Expertise (COEs) resources: Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness and Colleague Labor Relations and Safety, and Total Rewards
  • Supports the implementation of performance management processes and ensures alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Serves as a technical resource, providing advice and guidance to regional leaders on the effective application of performance assessment methods and approaches.
  • Ensures appropriate Human Resource information is provided to business leaders which will support the successful alignment of Human Resource operations, programs and services across the system.
  • Accountable for developing, fostering and maintaining an effective Human Resource relationship with assigned business leaders.
  • Collaborates local leaders to facilitate achieving business needs and objectives.
  • Mentors and coaches leaders by providing performance assessment, coaching, guidance and feedback on professional development and quality performance.
  • Manages local HR team members, providing day to day mentoring and supervision to improve and enhance human resources processes.

Skillset and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Development, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or MA) in Human Resources, Business Administration
  • Experience: Seven (7) or more years’ progressively responsible experience in Human demonstrated experience as a business partner aligning Human Resource organizational capabilities required.
  • Must possess thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in human process improvement.
  • Knowledge of and experience in health care/faith-based health care.

 


 

Director Investments – Healthcare

Function: Investment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence on prospective investment managers by evaluating the team and strategy, analyzing performance, debating with colleagues, and preparing recommendation summaries.
  • Monitor and analyze existing investment partnerships both through on-site visits and research.
  • Research investment and industry trends, and opportunistic investment projects as they arise
  • Present as appropriate to the Board of Trustees Committee on Investments, the University President, and other relevant stakeholders, and represent Johns Hopkins University as a leader in the local community and among the broad Johns Hopkins constituency.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director of Investments and the senior investment leaders in managing overall portfolio allocation and risk, with particular responsibility around manager allocations across asset classes.

Skillset and Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a record of demonstrable success which may include roles in investment management, investment banking, corporate strategy, and/or as a physician taking care of patients. Strong as well as the highest standards of personal and professional ethics and Personal fit within a dynamic team is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related or relevant work experience is required, coursework in the hard sciences (e.g., biology, biomedical engineering, & biomolecular engineering, chemistry, molecular & cellular biology, neuroscience).
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • An M.B.A., M.D., Ph.D. and/or Master’s degree is strongly preferred
