The selection of NebulaONE was part of a year-long process evaluating the various options available.  NebulaONE offers integration with around 2,000 AI models (including OpenAI models like ChatGPT), cost-effective consumption-based pricing, and data security and compliance features.

BlueChip is a UNC Kenan-Flagler branded platform and is accessible to individuals only to faculty, staff and students with UNC Kenan-Flagler credentials.

Use BlueChip only for your UNC Kenan-Flagler related activities, such as, teaching and learning, research and creating efficiencies in your work.  Students and faculty should work together to determine when BlueChip is allowed for learning interactions in a course.  Use external generative AI solutions for personal use.

BlueChip was vetted for data security. Your files stay local to your individual chat session at the user-level. No files uploaded to BlueChip will be used to train the model or can be accessed by other users.

Official Agents within BlueChip are designed by system administrators to use across UNC Kenan-Flagler to introduce operational efficiencies and to aid in teaching/learning.  Personal Agents can be created by any user within BlueChip for targeted use cases in your personal environment.

Our goals include:

• Increasing AI literacy for our students as they go into a changing job market
• The democratization of AI across the School by providing access to these tools for faculty, staff and students
• The ability to use our own data and intellectual property in a secure environment
• Introducing operational efficiencies to our work by creating custom agents and use cases

Currently, BlueChip does not remember your conversations across different chat sessions that would cater the AI to your personal preferences and previous interactions.  You can return to previous chats to obtain a similar experience.
