Biography: Since joining PRN in 2019 as Chief Executive Officer, Ajay Gupta has been a catalyst in developing and driving PRN’s operational proficiencies, transformational structure and visionary growth strategy. Under Ajay’s direction, PRN has focused on accelerating strategic growth, including health system partnerships, employer focused MSK worksite health programs, and investing in a scalable infrastructure, while building a diversified payor mix and widening PRN’s geographic footprint, which has grown more than 50 percent.

Ajay brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience developing national scale multi-specialty physician practice management companies, post-acute care and value-based risk arrangements.

Prior to PRN, Ajay held senior positions at for-profit Companies including HCA Healthcare, Envision Healthcare and Integrated Oncology Network (ION). In these roles Ajay advised and executed on mergers and acquisitions, operational excellence, devised unique payer/provider models of care and enabled joint-venture partners to be sustainable and profitable.

A native Nashvillian, Ajay holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and bachelor’s in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill. Outside of the office and clinical setting, Ajay enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also has a passion for adventure and travel and likes to keep active through spinning, yoga and tennis.
