We drive responsible thought leadership and education to accelerate progress in social and environmental sustainability through innovative and profitable business solutions. We accomplish this by engaging with and connecting stakeholders to empower students, faculty and businesses to create impactful solutions, strengthen resiliency and identify breakthrough opportunities.

One of the ACES’ primary objectives is to provide action-based learning opportunities to Kenan-Flagler students in the practice of sustainable enterprise. ACES works with student clubs, partner organizations and companies to identify and leverage competitive advantage through sustainable enterprise strategies and practices.

This concentration applies across functional areas and industries. It complements other career concentrations taken at the same time. Students taking it will learn how to craft strategies that help companies pursue a triple bottom line, a skill that more and more companies say they seek.

Invest for the Future (IF) amplifies and develops thought leadership and inspired action in ESG integration, impact management, sustainable finance and impact investing. This initiative connects and helps support existing curricular and co-curricular programming throughout Kenan-Flagler Business School.
