Mission | Leadership Team
The mission of the Private Equity Club is to provide club membership the necessary education, exposure to industry leaders, access to alumni and leadership opportunities so that they might secure a career in the Private Equity space following graduation and establish valuable long-term relationships with colleagues and industry professionals.
Dylan Digmon - President
Dylan Digmon is a 2019 MBA candidate concentrating in Corporate Finance. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler Business School, Dylan was a Corporate & Investment Banking Associate at BBVA, a Madrid based global financial group with $850B in assets throughout 30 countries, in Houston, TX. He graduated from Auburn University in 2012 with a B.S. in Finance and is a Level III Candidate in the CFA program. This summer, Dylan will be joining Harris Williams & Co. in Richmond.
Michael Goodwin - VP of Finance
Michael is a class of 2019 MBA candidate concentrating in Corporate Finance. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler, Michael was a Commercial Underwriter at Capital One, N.A. based in McLean, VA. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a B.S. in Finance and in 2014 B.A. in Spanish. This summer, Michael will be joining the Leverage Finance Group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Charlotte, NC.
Colleen Parra - VP of Communications
Colleen is a class of 2019 MBA candidate concentrating in Corporate Finance and Real Estate. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler Business School, Colleen spent 5 years working in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Most recently, she served as a Senior Associate in the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley. She graduated from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business in 2010 with a B.B.A. in Finance. This summer, Colleen will be joining the Investment Banking division of Wells Fargo Securities in New York.
George Mabry - VP of Corporate Relations
George Mabry is a class of 2019 MBA candidate pursuing a concentration in Corporate Finance. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, George graduated from Furman University in 2013 and worked as a high yield research analyst at Barings in Charlotte. This summer, George will be interning as a Private Equity Associate at Stronghold Resource Partners in Dallas.
Gordon Wyche - VP of Learning and Development
Gordon Wyche is a class of 2019 MBA student at Kenan-Flagler. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler, Gordon worked as an investment professional for The Halifax Group, a middle-market private equity firm focused on buyouts in the Health & Wellness, Outsourced Business Services, Franchising, and Infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Halifax, Gordon worked as an investment professional for Roark Capital Group, a middle-market private equity firm focused on consumer, business service and environmental service companies, with a specialization around franchised and multi-unit business models in the retail, restaurant and consumer services sectors. Gordon graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Economics.
