Selection Criteria

We’re looking for bright, motivated students who aspire to make an impact in the business world and in the communities they serve. The program is open to students with less than two years of professional experience from all undergraduate majors and there are no prerequisite courses. Students with proven quantitative skills, internship and leadership experience, and an analytical mindset are encouraged to apply.

How to apply

It’s easy to get started, and you’ll apply using our standard Full-Time MBA application (Round 4, 2020 entry).

For tips on applying and to learn more about the application process, simply complete the form above or contact us at NCBusinessNext@unc.edu.

Recognizing that your ability to prepare for the GMAT or GRE may have been reduced, you can request a GMAT/GRE waiver. As part of the waiver process, you may submit an alternative standardized test score (e.g. SAT or ACT) for consideration. To request a testing waiver, please start your application and navigate to the “GMAT/GRE Waiver” tab. You will receive a decision on your waiver request within two business days.

The program’s priority application deadline is June 15, with admissions decisions made on a rolling basis. Meeting the priority deadline will maximize your opportunities for fellowship consideration. The final application deadline is July 13.

For more information, review our application requirements.
