Program admissions status

Full-Time MBA Program
We have delayed the official start of the program to August 31 and have extended the Round 4 deadline through July 13, while transitioning to rolling admissions. Applications will be reviewed and admissions decisions will be released on a rolling basis. Most applicants will receive an admissions decision within two weeks of submission. Due to the COVID-19 situation and applicants’ reduced ability to access and prepare for the GMAT or GRE at this time, new applicants can request a GMAT/GRE waiver (learn more about the waiver). To better assist you in taking this important step in your career during this unprecedented time, we’ve also waived the application fees for the remainder of the admissions cycle for the Class of 2022.
Evening MBA, Weekend Executive MBA and Online MBA Programs
There are no changes to the application deadlines or requirements for these programs at this time. More information can be found here:
As COVID-19 continues to usher in rapid changes at every level of society, we remain committed to leading with humanity, integrity and innovation. Students, faculty, staff and researchers from every corner of our community are bringing their expertise to the front lines of the pandemic response – on campus, across the nation and around the globe.
We have temporarily cancelled all in-person events and transitioned many to an online webinar format, including admission interviews, which will be held via Skype or videoconference. We encourage you to register for an upcoming webinar to learn more about UNC Kenan-Flagler, take advantage of the opportunity to have your questions answered by our MBA program and admissions team, and hear first-hand insights about the MBA experience from students and alumni. More information on upcoming webinars and online events can be found on our events page.
