STAR Uses an Effective Methodology to Problem Solving
At Kenan-Flagler, we have developed a special approach to conduct action-based, experiential project learning. In order to create a realistic consulting experience for the students and to produce a professional, valuable deliverable for the corporate partner, the client, STAR students follow the TEAM FOCUS methodology. This is based on extensive research on efficient and effective team problem solving from the McKinsey Engagement coupled with other consulting best practices developed by our exceptional faculty.
The following is an example of the hypothesis based, research-driven methodology that strongly emphasizes the value of exceptional teamwork, intentional data gathering and excellent communication skills.
