The research interests of Celine Fei lie in empirical corporate finance with a focus on venture capital, fintech and private equity.

Dr. Fei has studied the role of fintech lenders in reducing racial barriers in the Paycheck Protection Program during the Covid-19 crisis; the portfolio composition in the private equity industry globally; and the interaction between government and private investors in the venture capital sector in China.

She teaches courses in corporate finance.

She received her PhD in economics and her MS in economic theory and econometrics, with highest honors, from the Toulouse School of Economics. She graduated from the Central University of Finance and Economics with a BA in mathematical economics and finance.
