  • + Information Technology Support Technician

    This position provides technology support to Executive Development staff and Executive Development programs. The IT Support Technician will have a deep understanding of various software programs, operating systems, and learning management systems. An individual who thrives in a setting that rewards growth, values teamwork, and balances autonomy with accountability will be most successful.

    The position will work closely with Executive Development staff. The individual will also be expected to work collaboratively with clients and faculty.

    Specific responsibilities for the position include:

    • Provides instructional technology support for programs, including all pre-program consultation and collaboration with staff and clients to determine program needs
    • During program delivery, responds to client and faculty needs, assists with operation of classroom systems, and fulfills any equipment requests
    • Provides support for all Executive Development instructional resources including but not limited to learning management systems, web conferencing systems, and other technologies as needed
    • Troubleshoots IT requests as they arise, and escalates issues when required
    • Determines appropriate solutions through in-depth analytical processes
    • Provides rapid and optimal resolution of technical issues in quick succession with high-quality, positive customer service
    • Recommends training for staff on specific technologies as needed
    • Keeps staff informed of critical IT updates, new processes, or service interruptions
    • Assists with asset management of Executive Development equipment
    • Performs routine diagnostics and/or configurations on assigned software and/or hardware, according to standard operating procedures
    • Keeps up with and develops expertise in emerging online learning technologies
    • Integrates automated and scripted processes to save time and mitigate risk of errors
    • Participates in testing of new LMS tools, upgrades and patching, and documentation

    The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in working with staff, faculty and clients to interpret needs and provide appropriate solutions
    • Exceptional customer service skills on the phone, in person, and online
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle many requests simultaneously
    • Well organized, proactive, and flexible with a high degree of professionalism
    • Working knowledge of educational technologies and methodologies

    Experience and Education:

    Candidate must have an associate's degree in computer information technology, computer technology integration, networking technology, or related areas and at least one year of experience in the IT field; or a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field; or equivalent experience.

    The candidate must have experience working with

    • Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft office Suite
    • Dell and Lenovo hardware
    • Canvas, Adobe Captivate Prime, and/or other learning management systems

  • + Program Assistant

    The Program Assistant is responsible to providing administrative and operational support for Executive Development program deliveries.

    Specific responsibilities for the position include:

    • General office management duties
    • Program administrative support includes, but is not limited to:
      • Developing and assembling program materials
      • Ordering copyrights
      • Shipping and tracking materials
      • Compiling program evaluations
    • Direct program coverage and support in the classroom and during offsite activities, as needed. This includes announcements and interactions with instructors, participants, clients, facilities staff and vendors
    • Manage, maintain and order program inventory giveaways

    Qualifications and Experience:

    The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and possess the ability to juggle varying stakeholder requests simultaneously and effectively manage deadlines for multiple priorities, while exhibiting excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be organized, flexible, and conduct all business with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Attention to detail, good judgment, and demonstrated tact and diplomacy are fundamental in this role. Due to the nature of the role, an individual with a commanding presence when speaking publicly will be most successful. Strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

    Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or higher and/or equivalent experience. A minimum of one to two years of administrative experience required. This position may require some overtime including evening and weekend work and occasional travel during program deliveries, as needed.
