Leading & Embracing Organizational Change focuses on how to make change initiatives more successful, predictable, comfortable and less stressful by better understanding change, its evolution, the roles people play and how to play them thoughtfully and with purpose. You’ll learn from both research and personal examination. You’ll be able to take your experience with change and examine it using frameworks, class exercises and simulations. Finally, you’ll reflect on current and future changes in your organization and the effect of these changes on you and your leadership role. You’ll be given a framework to immediately apply the knowledge and tools to your situation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Mid to senior-level managers, directors, and cross-functional leaders with managerial responsibilities to lead a team through transition and change.
- Understand the different definitions of change, the consequences of not changing at all, and the connections between change, leadership and management
- Understand the significant stress that change places on people, and be able to identify and apply techniques and coping mechanisms to mitigate stress reactions
- Analyze a change scenario and identify what needs to happen at each stage in a change process
