Global Entrepreneurship Lab (EMBA)

The Global Entrepreneurship Lab (GEL) is a course and 1-week study trip designed to expose students to entrepreneurship in a global context. Students serve as consultants to a funded high-growth startup venture forming in a non-national market on a core element of their overall strategy. EMBA students in the 2012 Global Entrepreneurship Lab traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Global Immersion Electives

The Global Immersion Elective (GIE) in Entrepreneurship provides a select group of MBA students with the opportunity to study global models of entrepreneurship on a week-long entrepreneurship immersion experience. Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC®)

Now in its 16th year, the Venture Capital Investment Competition allows MBA students to play ‘venture capitalist’ for the day.  Competing teams listen to pitches from real entrepreneurs, structure an investment deal, and then must negotiate that deal with the chosen entrepreneur. The competition attracts students from 60 different business schools, one-third of which are international.
