Alliance of Minority Business Students is a professional network of business students of all backgrounds who are committed to supporting diversity of minorities and underrepresented groups in Corporate America.

Leadership Team

KimbroughMichelle Kimbrough - President

Michelle was born in Colorado Springs, CO, but has lived all over the world. She spent over 7 years serving as a logistics officer in the United States Army under the Special Operations Command and the 101st Airborne, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She graduated from West Point in 2009, with a B.S. in Spanish and German and a minor in Environmental Engineering. At Kenan-Flagler Michelle plans to pursue a career marketing with a focus in the technology industry. She is also a Consortium Fellow, President of the Alliance for Minority Business Students and Executive Vice President of the Veterans Association.

O'Neal

Jay O'Neal - Executive VP & VP of Finance

Jay O’Neal grew up in Havelock, North Carolina and received his bachelors of science in aerospace engineering from North Carolina State University. Jay served in the Marine Corps, as a tank crewman and aviation supply officer. He also worked as a district manager for Starbucks and logistics manager for Target before starting his MBA. He is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets and Investments. Jay will be interning at Wells Fargo Securities as an investment banking summer associate, covering consumer and retail.

Smith

Daryn Smith- VP of Communications

Stephen Wynn - VP of Corporate Relations

Stephen is a first year MBA concentrating in Marketing and Strategy. Prior to school I spent six years at GE working in Operations and Manufacturing.

Sow

Amadou Sow - VP of Learning & Development

Amadou Sow is a first-year MBA student concentrating in Corporate Finance and pursuing a career in Investment Banking. Prior to business school, he served in a number of digital marketing and sales roles at several high-growth technology startups in New York City. Originally from Senegal and a native of New York, he earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University with a BSBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management.

Bantista

Greg Bantista - VP of Community Service

Greg grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and received his bachelors degree in finance from Eastern Michigan University. He began his professional career as an accountant for Zoonik Games, a startup based in Miami, Florida. Greg then went on to work for Olympus Managed Health Care, also in an accounting role. At Kenan-Flagler, he is pursuing a concentration in Corporate Finance and Real Estate.

Brittney Gordon - VP of Social Events

Brittney grew up in Valdosta, GA, and after receiving her B.B.A. from Georgia State University, worked for 6 years at a global CPG company in Sales. At Kenan-Flagler, she serves on the AMBS leadership team, participates in the Non-Profit Board Consultants program, and advocates for increasing the representation of underrepresented minorities in business schools and corporate management as a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management fellow. In her free time she enjoys music, reading, and traveling.

Lichtinger

Eric Lichtinger - VP of International Relations

Eric is from Mexico City, and hold a BS and MS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. After gradiation, Eric performed neuroscience research. He then transitioned to the biotech industry where he specialized in sensors and molecular diagnostics. He then went on to start a company in Mexico to bring financial services to the unbanked through the use of smart cards, and doing business development for a company that builds and operates water plants. Eric is pursuing an enrichment in Healthcare. His hobbies are cooking, MMA and spearfishing.
