One essential element in developing leadership skills is increasing self-awareness. UNC Kenan-Flagler offers assessment tools and resources to increase the ability to be more effective in three roles: as an individual, as a team member/leader, and as an organizational leader. Teamwork is a core value of UNC Kenan-Flagler and a key component of the MBA Program. Team experiences begin in orientation and continue throughout the Core Curriculum. The principles of team effectiveness are explored, there are multiple opportunities to practice solving problems, give and receive feedback, and to reflect on experiences with an executive coach for maximum learning.
