Our 3 Focus Areas: Research, Education and Convening

Creating Knowledge
Research conducted through the Center includes theoretical research that will be published in academic journals as well as applied research on challenges faced by health care organizations. These projects take a team approach to scholarship, involving scholars from across schools at Carolina.

Preparing business leaders
The Center is partnering on new educational offerings to prepare future leaders for transformational careers that will improve and increase the scale of impact to health care. A new elective has been added to UNC Kenan-Flagler's Undergraduate Business Program and efforts are underway to continue building the MBA concentration in health care.

Convening conversations
By convening important conversations with key industry and governmental stakeholders, the Center is creating a neutral ground for breakthrough discussions and developments.
