Alumni Council Meeting – October 2007
Great things are happening within the UNC Business community, and we want you to be a part of the action. Each of you has valuable talents to serve your fellow graduates, your school and your communities. In turn, the UNC Kenan-Flagler family is here to serve you, connecting you with a vibrant and growing network of Tarheels to help you succeed in your career and life.
Recently, the Alumni Council assisted the office of Alumni Affairs in the formulation of the 2007 Alumni Survey. Your tremendous response and thoughtful, candid feedback is invaluable as we seek to expand UNC Kenan-Flagler's outreach to graduates. We are working together with our staff partners to analyze the results and act upon your feedback.
The Alumni Council had a very productive Fall meeting prior to joining in the fun of Reunion Weekend. Dean Jones shared his excitement, noting the positive correlation between great schools and great numbers of actively engaged alumni. Our mission is to grow this engagement of alumni as we continue to:
- increase opportunities for alumni to make UNC Business connections where they work and live
- innovate ways to better connect alumni and provide communications relevant to their interests and needs
- reach out to our wide alumni base and demonstrate the significant return on investment that even modest gifts can make
I encourage you to consider the value Carolina connections bring to your work and life, and the legacy you want to leave. Connect with the growing Kenan-Flagler network and discover the impact your experience can make in the lives of others and what the UNC Family can do for you.
