The Global OneMBA® is the largest and most diverse partnership among international MBA programs. This ensures that you have global perspective from each of the major world regions. You will earn the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA and the OneMBA certificate issued by the partner schools.

Unique to global Executive MBA programs, the Global OneMBA® includes global teams, with representatives from the partner schools. You will have an opportunity to manage and deliver projects that require collaboration across multiple time zones and continents. This will provide you with the Skills that are required to manage virtual global teams, an absolute necessity in today’s multinational organizations.
Four week-long global residencies
Four weeklong residencies in each region – Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America –allow you to experience first-hand the unique nature of both global and micro-markets. Different from traditional global education programs, the Global OneMBA® residencies are taught by world-class faculty from the local geography and include presentations by influential leaders from thriving organizations. In addition, the residencies have on-site visits with global and local enterprises to analyze the differences and similarities between these types of organizations. Finally, you will participate in team-based activities to foster collaboration and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and citizenship of the region.

UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA in a productive format
Upon completion of the 21-month program, you’ll earn a coveted UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA degree. Classes meet approximately one weekend/month in either Leesburg, VA at Lansdowne Resort, or Chapel Hill at our Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center. A portion of coursework is also offered in a technology enhanced academic content delivery format. This means that a percentage of course content is available online, which allows for more “at your own pace” learning. For specific information, please view the course schedule.

Lifelong and extensive global network
You will network with global managers living and working on four continents. Each Global OneMBA® class has about 100 total students from the partner universities, of which about 30 are from UNC. Most UNC Global OneMBA® students have approximately 13 years of work experience. (At least seven years is required, with 10 preferred.) You also will have access to more than 1,100 Global OneMBA® alumni in diverse industries working around the world. In addition, you’ll gain access to more than 33,000 UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni and more than 300,000 UNC-Chapel Hill alumni.
