UNC Kenan-Flagler takes learning beyond the traditional classroom, bringing thought leaders on a wide range of environmental and social management issues to campus to speak, preparing students to become business leaders whose knowledge of sustainability concepts and strategies give them a competitive advantage.
Students also have an opportunity to experience the business world through Sustainability in Action Treks where groups of students visit local businesses to learn about how businesses are tackling sustainability challenges on the ground. Past Treks have been led by the UNC Kenan-Flagler Center for Sustainable Enterprise, MBA Net Impact Club, Energy Club, Operations Management Club, and faculty members.
