Director of Development
Shontel Jung is Director of Development for New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, New England and California. With BSBA and MAC degrees from UNC Kenan-Flagler, Shontel began her career as an auditor for Ernst & Young in Raleigh, NC. She was soon asked to join a team of fellow Tar Heels as the accounting manager at a healthcare start-up company in Cary. Once the company was acquired by Indianapolis-based RealMed, Shontel moved from accounting into an account management role where she was responsible for growth across North Carolina. After taking time off for a multi-month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia in 2002, Shontel spent the next five years in both regional and national account management roles in North Carolina and eventually New York. Shontel worked for Misys Healthcare and then The Advisory Board Company during this time. She is thrilled to now be a part of the UNC Development family.
